I'm here!!!

Yes, I know......its been a year since I've update my pretty little blog. Did you miss me? Well I miss you!!!

I've been quite busy with my kids, husband, school and my schedule that time flies and what do you know a year flies by. So at this time, I'm actually recovering from a root canal, I decided it would be a good time to write a brand spankin' new post.

My friend Shaina is expecting her 2nd baby and its a little girl! She's been so excited for this pregnancy from the beginning that she started to plan her baby shower from the start. So I jumped in and wanted to do her invitations as a gift and she was so excited she said YES!!!

So this is what they looked like. She absolutely loved them!!!

What I normally do when I do invitations, I make a few of them and have the person pick their favorite. I will post the runner up choices in the next day or so.

Be Yourself

As you've noticed, I've been absent from my blog for awhile. My son broke his wrist last month and I feel like I'm finally getting back to normal. He needed surgery so didn't help the stress levels. I was actually able to scrap today...which made me feel like "Myself".
This stamp set, Be Yourself, is Close to my Heart's May Stamp of the Month. I love it! Its so girly and feminine!!
I actually created these before my son broke his wrist.

All products used are from Close to my Heart.

The 1st five get a goodie

I was doing my blog hoppin' over at Lisa's Creative Corner blog and saw that she was doing a cool give-a-way. The first 5 to leave any comment, will win a small gift. So now I'm going to pay it forward. The first five people to respond to this post will get something made by me! My choice. For you! This offer does have a few “rules of play”:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make --- but I hope you do!
2- What I create will be just for you --- one of a kind!
3- It'll be done sometime this year (most likely it will be in the next month).
4- You have no clue what it's going to be. Well, a pretty good bet it will be made of paper!
5-The catch? Oh, the catch is that you must repost this on your blog and offer the same to the first 5 people who do the same on your blog!
The first 5 people to leave a comment will win a handmade card or gift (or both!) by me! Oh, and be sure to post a picture of what you win when you get it! So....who will be the first 5 people?
Even if you aren't in my first five, why not start this on your blog, too? Spread more love FASTER! Ready, set, go.....who will the first five be??
