Just Jawing Cards

Here are the cards that have caused my scrapbook room to be turned inside out. I got the idea from SCS and I love the way it turned out. I did change the size of the card to a 6x6. The stamp set is called Just Jawing from Stampin' Up and the paper is from Doodlebug Designs.
The eyes and bow are glitter. So Cute!!!

All the pink paper is from Close to my Heart and the skull paper is from Stampin' Up.

Ribbon from Wal-mart. Thanks for looking!!!

The Reality about our Scrapbook/Craft Rooms

This is a picture of my scrapbook room which was taken this morning. When we moved last summer, I was not only excited about our new home but also because I was finally going to get a scrapbook room. I've been making these cute Halloween cards the last few days [which will be posted by weeks end] when I realized how messy my room looked.
This is my actual workplace and it is so messy!!! I guess this is how it looks when I am deeply involved in a project.
And then I tend to drop scraps of paper and ribbon on the floor. But I do end up picking it up before I run the vacuum through the room. So tell me....how does your craft space look like, when your in the middle of a project???

I am alive!!!

Just wanted to pop in and say hi. I've had a computer, on and off, for the last few weeks. One guy told me to buy a new one so I did. The other guy says, I can fix it. So he does and I take the new one back. Get it??? Anyway, I recently did a swap and should be getting it back soon. I designed 2 double page layouts and will share some pics. as soon as they are in my hands. Until then,
HAPPY SCRAPPIN'!!!!!

30-Minute Layout

As I was talking to my sister-in-law this morning, I found myself in my scrapbook room. I started playing with some paper and next thing you know, I've created the last page on my sons 2nd year album. All done in less than 30 minutes.....and on the phone too!
Now that I look at the stickers, I should of put some 3D foam in the back to make them "pop".
3 brads in the upper left hand corner. I love the way it came out! Very simple and very fast! Have a Happy Wednesday!!!

I used Coluzzle's file folder template for this. My 2nd birthday are Good Times stickease by Close to my Heart. Make a wish!!!

Just Because Card Kit

Aren't these cards so cute??? Well they are part of the Just Because Card Kit from Close to my Heart.
This card kit was so popular, it sold out in 17 days.
I made sure I picked one up for myself as soon as they were on sale.
The colors in the cards are Cocoa and the new one.....Tulip!
Close to my Heart came out with 4 new colors.
Tulip. Creme Brulee, Juniper, and Sorbet.
I put these together Labor Day weekend. I guess I am more of a scrapbookin' girl than a card making girl...but I was really enjoying putting these cards together. Enjoy!!!

Water Bottle Pouch & Journal

I had posted the original design of the Water bottle pouch here on my family blog. My sister-in-law is a Spanish teacher and has the summer off. She came down to visit for a few days and we actually got to make some really fun projects. I really haven't been in my scrapbook room at all this summer. So she wanted to give some of the staff a small gift and this is what we did. We made 16 pouches. I think I might make some for the staff at my boys' school.
This is a journal I made her.

I am back!!!

I AM BACK!!! YES MY SISTERS....I am officially home for 2 weeks though. I was in Ca for one week and will be returning in 2 weeks for some more "down time". We had a ton of fun. Check out my family blog for what we did those few days. It should be updated today or tomorrow. So before I left, I was browsing 2 peas message boards and found this new paper stack. I went to the Joann's by my mom's house and they had none in 12x12. I had them call the next closest Joann's which was 15 minutes away......AND THEY HAD IT!!! I was so happy because I really wanted it. So I was lucky enough to buy the last one they had in stock. Its was on sale for $9.99. Look at the delicious paper in the stack. Its not all the pages but just a few.

This stack is called The Grade School stack by DCWV. Its a premium stack with glitter and foil. Enjoy the view!!!

Father's Day Shirt Cards

Thanks to Tamara Sandwisch, I was able to make 10 of these Father's Day cards. She posted the instructions, along with pictures, on our Close to my Heart bulletin boards. I even mailed them out early enough so they would arrive by today. I sent them to my dad, father-in-law, brothers-in-law, and some friends. This blue pattern was paper from a DCWV paper slab.
This green paper also came from a DCMV paper slab.
This was my favorite shirt! Its from AMM. The stamp is from CTMH's Say it in Style. Enjoy!!!
